This Spring, Gemfields revealed the results of their partnership with smartphone firm Savelli – a limited edition range of luxury, emerald-studded smartphones!
Limited-edition luxury
With two designs on offer, Emerald Night and Emerald Insane, each phone is studded with Gemfields Zambian Emeralds.
The stunning handsets were unveiled on April 25th at Harrods Fine Jewellery Room. Emerald Insane features 75 baguette-cut emeralds and only 8 of these handsets will be produced. Emerald Nights are inlaid with 400 brilliant-cut emeralds and 19 of this design will be made.
Hand-selected gemstones
The phones are handmade in Switzerland and have certainly provided Savelli’s master craftsmen with a challenge – emeralds are rarely set on such curvaceous objects. Each emerald was hand-selected for the phones to ensure the perfect shade and depth of green.
