This year’s Cannes Film Festival has been and gone – and with it some displays of stunning red-carpet gowns and gorgeous designer jewellery.
Bejewelled Blake
Blake Lively took to the red carpet wearing more than 180 carats of diamonds from Lorraine Schwartz, who also designed her stunning pink diamond engagement ring. Her two diamond necklaces, 20ct diamond studs and ruby, pearl and diamond bracelet added sparkle to proceedings!
Unique Bulgari
This year, celebrities at Cannes Film festival have been seen wearing some truly stunning pieces – Nicole Kidman was photographed wearing Harry Winston jewellery whilst actress Naomi Watts dazzled in unique pieces from Bulgari Heritage such as her diamond-encrusted serpent necklace.
Full-on glamour
The emphasis for 2014 was clearly on white metal and diamonds, although bold, geometric jewellery and rose gold bracelets also appeared to be popular choices. Most actresses opted for oversized, chandelier style earrings in keeping with the glamorous setting of the festival – British model Suki Waterhouse was seen sporting a particularly eye-catching pair of dangling leaf-shaped diamond earrings, which caught the light as she posed for photographers. Jennifer Lawrence bucked the trend and opted for a simple, elegant style with delicate gold rings from Irene Neuwirth.
