Jewellery designer spotlight: Kara Ross

We love scouting out new up-and-coming jewellery designers and although her brand has been around since 2003, it seems you can’t go far at the moment without coming across New York-based jewellery designer Kara Ross’s range; Kara Ross Fine Jewelry (sorry - we can't help the American spelling!). Kara's range, which focuses on making raw, unpolished stones things of beauty includes bold pieces which she defines as ‘wearable sculpture and art.’

We love her Hemimorphite earrings with 18k gold and diamonds – a perfect example of her signature style. Rough, azure blue crystals are surrounded by beautifully cut diamonds and 18k gold – simply stunning!
